Job Summary
A university is filling a position for a Telecommute Disaster and Crisis Response Professor.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Developing and delivering emergency management elearning courses
- Equipping Christian believers to serve in disaster and crisis events through positions in ministry
- Teaching courses in emergency management from the view of missional service
Position Requirements Include:
- PhD in Public Safety or a DMin in Pastoral Care/Chaplaincy or a related field from an accredited university or seminary
- 5 years of experience either in emergency management or in Disaster and Crisis Chaplaincy
- Teaching experience, preferably online
- A vibrant Christian testimony
- Practical missions experience in his/her own country of origin or beyond
- Demonstrate practical emergency management experience in disaster response situations within their own country or beyond
