Job Summary

A nonprofit organization has a current position open for a Telecommute Disaster Program Specialist.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Managing the implementation of the disaster services program
  • Facilitating and supporting the development and implementation of strategies
  • Analyzing opportunities for improved program services

Position Requirements Include:

  • May involve travel
  • Intermediate level proficiency with MS Office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Familiarity with federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience with social services or service/program delivery
  • Ability to coordinate staff and volunteer activities
