Job Summary
A nonprofit organization needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Disaster Program Support Consultant.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Assisting affiliate in launching disaster response operations
- Networking with key disaster recovery organizations and partners
- Overseeing the process of capturing lessons learned and promising practices
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Ability to travel 20% of the time
- Associate's Degree or equivalent work experience
- 5 years of related work experience
- Knowledge and experience in disaster response programming
- Computer literate and knowledge of satellite phones
- Knowledge of GPS systems and VHF/HF radio communication
