Job Summary
A university is seeking a Telecommute Dissertation Editor.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Conduct extensive line editing of dissertations and doctoral studies
- Draft query letters to students and committees with instructions for recommended and required changes
- Answer student inquiries regarding document formatting, APA style, and writing-related concerns
Qualifications for this position include:
- Travel and present at face-to-face writing seminars
- Earned master's degree or beyond from an accredited institution in English or related social science field required
- Five to 7 years of experience in with academic writing or editing
- Superb written communication skills
- Expertise in APA style
- All other requirements necessary for this position
