Job Summary

A non profit organization is filling a position for a Telecommute Distributed Organizing Associate Director.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver trainings and support for staff and volunteers in the Program Department
  • Hire, evaluate, coach, train and manage 1 to 3 national organizing staff
  • Act as a liaison between the Program Department and national volunteer leaders

Required Skills:

  • Valid driver's license, satisfactory driving record, and proof of auto insurance required
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in the environmental movement or social justice advocacy
  • 3 to 5 years of supervisory experience
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, train and support employees
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong visionary leadership skills
