Job Summary
A staffing agency is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Distributed Storage Software Engineer in New York City.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Provide engineering support for storage products
- Troubleshoot bugs and designing fixes to release in Ubuntu
- Upstream development for reported defects and develop patches
Position Requirements Include:
- Travel once per quarter for team meeting/sprint (worldwide so passport necessary)
- Ceph Object Storage and architecture
- Software defined networking (SDN and traditional networking)
- OpenStack or other cloud technologies
- Development experience with X, C++ and Python
- All other requirements listed by the company
