Job Summary
A technology company is in need of a Telecommute Distributed Systems Engineer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Researching, strategizing and educating on methodology and best practices for design, implementation, and deployment
- Helping design, implement, and monitor one or more testnets
- Implementing rigorous and thorough testing practices to ensure security and performance goals
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Expert knowledge of peer-to-peer distributed system design and implementation
- Strong Linux engineering background
- Ability to build and maintain highly available infrastructure
- Strong background in security-oriented system design, with a focus on applied cryptography
- Competency in monitoring and quick response time in the event of an emergency
- Experience deploying Bitcoin infrastructure, like UTXO providers and block explorers
