Job Summary

A healthcare technology company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute DRG Analyst.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Communicating audit findings with excellent grammar and writing skills
• Demonstrating the ability to appropriately apply coding guidelines to a variety of claims scenarios
• Screening claims data including MS-DRG and APR-DRG data

Qualifications for this position include:

• Ability to use software, hardware, and peripherals related to job responsibilities
• RHIT, RHIA, or CCS Competency in ICD-10 CM & PCS
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an acute inpatient coder or related coding experience
• Ability to perform in-depth analysis of medical record documentation relating to diagnoses and procedures
