Job Summary

A healthcare analytics solutions and services company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute DRG Subject Matter Expert.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Ensuring audit staff is well trained, aligned, well able to achieve program goals
• Performing random and focused quality assurance audits
• Ensuring all facilities disputes are reviewed and addressed

Qualifications Include:

• CCS - Certified Coding Specialist RHIT
• Registered Health Information Technologist
• 7-10 years of experience with MS DRG and APR DRGs with expert knowledge of ICD-9 official coding guidelines, as well as ICD-10-CM/PCS training
• Experience with encoder tools (TrueCode, 3M, Webtrat, Pricers)
• 3-5 years of supervisory experience with the ability to develop work plans, action plans, and standard operating procedures
• Excellent verbal/written communication skill
