Job Summary

A biotechnology company focused on oncology has a current position open for a Telecommute Drug Safety Medical Director.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Performing the medical review of Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs)
• Contributing to safety surveillance activities, safety process and convention development,
• Assisting in establishing and maintaining the Drug Safety Department

Position Requirements Include:

• M.D. degree
• Completion of an accredited medical or surgical residency program
• 2+ years of clinical experience post-residency
• 5+ years of experience in a medical review role in the pharmaceutical industry
• OR Significant clinical experience (~ 10 years) in lieu of pharmaceutical/biotech experience
• High level of medical competence with an ability to balance this with industry standards
