Job Summary
A medical billing support company is filling a position for a Telecommute Durable and Home Medical Equipment Intake Specialist in Charlotte.
Must be able to:
- Manage the client’s intakes
- Oversee and audit work of additional team members
- Work with the client and the internal team to improve efficiency and quality as needed to maximize reimbursement opportunities
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Knowledge of billing requirements for Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial payers
- Knowledge of documentation requirements for medical equipment
- Problem solver able to manage crisis situations calmly and professionally
- Solid computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and strong keyboarding skills
- Remarkable verbal and written communication, including spelling and punctuation
- Capable of working with diverse cultures and personalities
