Job Summary

A healthcare provider is filling a position for a Telecommute EAP Counselor.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Provide short-term, solution focused counseling to employees on a voluntary basis on-site
• Ensures continuity of patient care through contact with providers as needed
• Answer inbound calls to assist members

Skills and Requirements Include:

• Local travel may be required to meet site specific utilization or organizational support needs
• Minimum of a master’s degree in mental health related discipline or associate’s degree in nursing
• Current, valid and unrestricted Washington DC state license in a mental health field
• Three (3) to five (5) years direct practice experience in psychiatric or substance abuse treatment
