Job Summary

An insurance company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute EAP Counselor in San Diego.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Independently conducting thorough assessment of risk of harm to self, or others
• Engaging individually with members to clinically and holistically assess the reason for call
• Conducting telephonic and on-line (chat) consultations

Qualifications Include:

• Participate in staff meetings, case consultations, and training opportunities
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a mental health/clinical setting
• Demonstrate the ability to build rapport, assess and address risk, and develop goals
• Master's Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work or related field
• Ability to work with a culturally and geographically diverse population
• Able to address a variety of problems and issues as presented by callers
