Job Summary
A non-profit education organization is seeking a Telecommute Early Reading Virtual Instructional Coach in New York City.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Implement developed, research-based instructional programs
- Ensure that program metrics are collected and goals are achieved in work with schools
- Support teachers and school leaders in creating and implementing culturally responsive lessons, resources, and activities
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Minimum of 4 years experience as an instructional coach
- Demonstrated effectiveness in achieving ambitious, measurable student results, particularly in early reading
- A strong understanding and commitment to evidenced-based, research-backed early reading teaching practices and strategies
- Experience coaching teachers virtually through video conferencing
- Experience facilitating teacher teams / groups to achieve student outcomes
