Job Summary

A retail fishing supply company is in need of a Telecommute eCommerce Product Description Writer in Chicago.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Writing product descriptions for fishing tackle and non-tackle products
• Researching products, as necessary, to ensure accurate descriptions
• Collaborating with our Senior Content Manager and Community Manager as necessary

Qualifications Include:

• Comprehensive knowledge of fishing tackle, equipment, and techniques
• Proven track record of being detail oriented and meeting deadlines
• Strong writing skills, including proper grammar and ability to tailor writing to brand voice
• Able to research products and translate technical information into clear and concise product descriptions
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or Google Docs
