Job Summary

A non profit behavioral and social science research organization is seeking a Telecommute Education Statistics Researcher.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

Developing a full understanding of specific federal agency standards and guidelines
Designing and managing small-scale studies
Providing support for large-scale studies

Qualifications for this position include:

Ph.D. in Computer Science, Big Data Analytics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Education Measurement, Psychometrics, Psychological Measurement, Social Science or a related field with 3 years experience or
Masters Degree with 4-7 years of experience
Experience in analyzing large data sets
Experience with R and Python, and cloud computing systems
Ability to translate research methods and findings for a non-technical audience
Excellent time management skills
