Job Summary
An online media non-profit organization is in need of a Telecommute Writer and Editor in Nicasio.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Researching and developing pitches for feature articles, videos, and educational content
- Assigning, editing, reporting, and writing educational articles or multimedia pieces
- Being active on social media, including regular contribution to influential social channels
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree
- At least 5 years professional writing and editing experience in digital media
- A track record of writing for a broad audience
- Experience in journalistic beats (education, the environment, wellness, tech, health, or culture)
- A willingness to wear many hats to get the job done
- A clear passion for great storytelling, digital media, and the creative process
