Telecommute Educational Accounting Manager

Job Summary

An adult education company has a current position open for a Telecommute Educational Accounting Manager.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Answering accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data
• Providing management with monthly and quarterly analytics and variance analysis
• Identifying opportunities for process improvement and presents recommendations for implementation

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
• Corporate accounting / General ledger experience
• Proficient with windows-based applications
• Knowledge and understanding of the application of the rules of GAAP and SOX requirements
• Strong error detection, problem solving, decision making and analytical skills
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
