Job Summary

An online educational media provider is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Educational Media Production Editor.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Perform quality checks on other production editors’ projects
• Create production schedules
• Mentor new members of the department and work with the Vendor Coordinator to help train new vendors and freelancers

Required Skills:

• 4-year college degree in communications, publishing, or other related field, or
• Combination of relevant education and experience
• 2 years work experience in the publishing industry
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong skills in markup languages (HTML, AsciiDoc, etc.) or InDesign and/or XML editing tools for typesetting
• Strong skills in Adobe Acrobat
