Job Summary
A university needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Educational Technology Specialist.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Supporting the university technologies for the various learning modalities
- Assisting faculty in the preparation of course materials for online distribution
- Developing online course materials for educational programs
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Master’s degree in Instructional Technology or equivalent in Adult Education or Courseware Design or Learning and Development
- Experience with at least one of the following: Adobe Pro Suite, Articulate Storyline, Captivate, Dreamweaver, Premiere Pro and Photoshop
- Experience with coding and web development
- Experience with Learning management systems such as Blackboard or Canvas
- Proven ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technology and industry standards
- Demonstrated ability to execute development with different tools such as HTML, 3D simulations, or using game-based software systems
