Job Summary
An energy company is in need of a Telecommute Electrical Engineer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Developing and/or reviewing conceptual and detailed design of solar plant electrical systems
- Developing technical specifications, scopes of work, and proposals
- Preparing electrical studies including load flow, reactive power capability, short circuit, etc
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Ability to travel up to 20% (of the year), nationally and internationally
- Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering with emphasis on power systems
- 2+ years of work experience in renewables, power generations, power systems design or similar
- Ability to perform detail-oriented, critical reviews of technical documentation
- Experience developing proposals for work, including budgets and scopes of work
