Job Summary
A healthcare company is in need of a Telecommute Electronic Data Interchange Payer Response Specialist in Brentwood,.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Perform claim research and analysis to resolve payor responses
- Initiate telephone calls to payors with respect to claim errors, provider enrollment, patient eligibility, and claim status, utilizing proper customer service protocol
- Meet and maintain established departmental performance metrics for production and quality
Position Requirements Include:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and others as required
- Must demonstrate ability to organize, perform and track multiple tasks accurately in short timeframes
- Must demonstrate knowledge and understanding of organizational policies, procedures, and systems
- Must be able to work effectively with other employees, patients, and external parties
- Must communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing, utilizing proper punctuation and correct spelling
