Job Summary

An online educational provider needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Elementary General Education Teacher.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Creating instructional resources to meet the varying needs of students
  • Hosting live synchronous sessions that promote a positive learning environment
  • Analyzing student data to prescribe remediation and enrichment as needed

Qualifications Include:

  • Ability to travel at least once per month to meetings, activities, open houses & orientations
  • Ability to participate in new teacher training for 3 weeks before the start of school
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Appropriate state certification and meets NCLB’s Highly Qualified Teacher requirements
  • 6 months of student teaching experience; experience working with the proposed age group
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, & Outlook; experience supporting adults & children in technology
