Job Summary

An educational company is in need of a Telecommute Elementary School Teacher.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Responding to students, parents and colleagues in timely manner
• Conducting live Synchronous Teaching
• Preparing students for high stakes standardized tests

Skills and Requirements Include:

• Ability to travel as required (on average once per month and/or approximately 10% of the time)
• Knowledge of state content standards and ability to align those with the K12 curriculum
• Bachelor's degree
• 6 months of student teaching experience
• Meet requirements for Highly Qualified Teacher in subject area under No Child Left Behind
• Pedagogical knowledge of content being taught and ability to apply critical thinking
