Job Summary

An online school is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Elementary Teacher.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Complete all grading, create progress reports and conduct parent conferences in a timely manner
• Support the instructional program with asynchronous web conferencing sessions and synchronous instruction
• Support students and parents with alternate strategies and provide additional assistance with daily assignments

Required Skills:

• Ability to travel 15-20% for school-related business (state testing, marketing, professional development, and school meetings)
• Highly qualified and certified to teach Elementary in Texas appropriate to subject area responsibilities
• Must hold or be willing to immediately obtain TxVSN Certification
• Strong technology skills
