Job Summary

A healthcare company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Emergency Department Medical Coder.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Handling daily coding and abstraction
  • Abstracting clinical information from a variety of emergency medical records
  • Participating in internal QA audits

Qualifications for this position include:

  • 3+ years professional work experience within healthcare/medical industry
  • CPC or CCS-P
  • 1+ year of production profee medical coding experience
  • 1+ year of Emergency Medicine professional coding experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
