Job Summary
An education company has a current position open for a Telecommute Engineering Curriculum Alignment Specialist.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Creating quality documentation that shows how the CTE curricula align against state and national standards
- Reviewing existing curriculum alignments to confirm documented coverage is to most current version of standards
- Writing and delivering summaries of the alignment data
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Education, Curriculum Design, or Instruction, or equivalent combination of training and 3-5 years instructional or curriculum experience
- Strong content knowledge in the area of Career and Technical Education, particularly at the secondary level
- Experience doing curriculum alignment work in K-12 or higher education
- Strong familiarity with state and national CTE curriculum standards
- One experience mapping state standards to curriculum
- Strong knowledge of standards, alignment, curriculum mapping, and standards language
