Job Summary

An insurance service provider is in need of a Telecommute Engineering Director.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Leading a growing team of 6-8 engineers with 2-3 main ownership areas
• Being responsible for continuously improving the productivity of a team
• Coordinating with other engineering managers and directors across the engineering

Qualifications Include:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science preferred; Master's degree preferred
• 12+ years of relevant work experience in software development
• 6+ years of people management experience
• Able to be focused on end-user and creating customer-centric solutions
• Frontend: Clojurescript, React, GraphQL and Backend: Clojure, JVM
• Infrastructure: Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, Packer, Terraform, AWS
