Job Summary

A technology consulting company is seeking a Telecommute Engineering Manager.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Driving planning and distill product roadmap into actionable tasks for engineers
  • Working on design, testing and code reviews
  • Spending 30-35% of time with hands-on-coding

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 8+ years of experience in the software industry in development roles
  • Mastery in least one high-level programming language
  • 2+ years in management roles, responsible for 5+ engineers
  • Thorough understanding of Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, Test Automation,
  • Very knowledgeable in containers, container orchestration and cloud-native distributed systems
