A company providing an image-hosting service has a current position open for a Telecommute Engineering Vice President.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Lead the entire globally distributed engineering organization
- Refine and improve the way we build products for our customers
- Mentor, develop and grow the people in our organization
Qualifications for this position include:
- Experience running engineering organizations of 50+team members
- 10+ years experience building software at scale
- Expertise with building both web and native app
- Significant AWS experience
- Experience with creating and balancing departmental budgets
- Strategic vision for decision making, and understanding of balancing tradeoffs
