Job Summary

A health insurance software company has an open position for a Telecommute Engineering Vice President in San Francisco.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Leading its Software Engineering, Quality Assurance, DevOps, and Security teams
  • Ensuring the on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery of our SaaS enterprise software system
  • Designing and implementing scalable engineering processes and organization

Position Requirements Include:

  • 4-year degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field of study
  • 15+ years’ experience in software engineering, software quality assurance, product development
  • 10+ years of progressive technology management experience with a collaborative leadership
  • Prior experience preferred with full-stack JavaScript and Postgres DB on Amazon Web Services
  • Fluent in hands-on management of agile, iterative development spanning specification
  • All other requirements necessary for this position
