Job Summary

A language services company has a current position open for a Telecommute English to Bulgarian Linguistic Quality Assurance Analyst.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Working with language data: help in creating, categorizing, auditing, and improving lexical data
• Annotating and reviewing linguistic data (POS annotation or annotation of syntactic dependencies in sentences)
• Labeling text for disambiguation, expansion, and text normalization

Qualifications Include:

• Native speaker fluency of Bulgarian
• Excellent knowledge of the structural aspects of the language (syntax, semantics, phonology, phonetics)
• Great attention to detail while working efficiently
• Good organizational and analytical skills
• Master's degree (or higher) in General Linguistics or related studies
• Experience in information retrieval, text categorization/classification/summarization, key phrase extractions OR experience in annotation work
