Job Summary
A staffing agency is in need of a Telecommute Enterprise Monitoring Architect on the East Coast.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Developing clear and concise technical & process documentation
- Evolving and supporting service provider scale monitoring and event management systems
- Providing configuration management reports as required
Qualifications for this position include:
- 20% travel
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or 3-5 years equivalent work experience
- Programming or scripting skills in at least one of the following Python, Perl, DOS or Unix shells
- Strong technical experience at least one of the following Micro Focus technologies OMI / Operations Bridge, OBR or OBA, or NNMI
- Basic knowledge of enterprise scale networking technologies (switches, firewalls, traffic managers, etc.)
- Good working knowledge of databases as a user or developer
- Unix and/or Windows Administration
- Experience with integrations and script development for OMI or UCMDB
