Job Summary

An environmental non-profit organization is in need of a Telecommute Environmental Nonprofit Executive Director in Missoula.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Setting annual fundraising goals and working with Development Director on planning and strategy
• Acting as a spokesperson and working with staff to communicate message and goals to the public
• Providing vision, direction, and oversight of strategic plans for staff

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

• Must be able to work onsite 25% of the time in Missoula
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Experience creating and implementing organizing and base-building strategies both online and on-the-ground
• Significant experience leading and managing staff and teams to achieve shared goals and commitments
• Demonstrated experience in successful fundraising, including building relationships with donors and funders
• Experienced and effective public speaker and spokesperson, with ability to speak to diverse groups
• Experience in managing nonprofit finances including creating budgets and being fiscally responsible
