Job Summary
A global healthcare company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute ER On-Call Clinical Coordinator.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Returning calls to ERs, Hospitals, SNFs and physicians within 10 minutes of page, text or call
- Verifying eligibility & benefits on health plan websites
- Arranging transfers from out of network to in-network
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- High School Diploma
- 2+ years of experience as an inpatient UM coordinator
- Knowledge of CPT and ICD coding
- Knowledge of HMO, MSO, and ACO structures and operations
- Knowledge of standardized CMS, medicare Advantage, HMo, and Medi-Cal benefits
- Ability to work Saturday and Sunday only from 8am-4pm PST
