Job Summary

A title and escrow provider needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Escrow SOX Director.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Ensuring that process control matrices and flowcharts are updated, detailed and accurate
• Conducting risk assessments to determine the annual SOX scope, including coordinating with internal and external auditors
• Serving as a technical resource on all SOX matters, including development, refinement, and documentation of internal controls

Required Skills:

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Auditing/Finance
• 7 years of experience in the design, monitoring, and evaluation of internal controls and SOX compliance at a Big 4 accounting firm or
• Publicly traded company
• Minimum 7 years of experience supervising and developing professional staff
• Experience managing SOX, internal audits and remediation plans
• Strong understanding of IT risks and controls and their overall impact to financial control environments
