An eSports platform is in need of a Telecommute eSports News Editor in the Los Angeles Area.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Aggregating and publishing the most important news stories and trending clips/tweets
- Helping improve, manage, and generate content
- Shaping a new content strategy for the esports world
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Must be a fan of the esports world as a whole
- Must have deep knowledge in news writing and editing
- Can actively monitor sources of breaking news and jump on stories seconds after they happen
- Experienced working with CMS, RSS feeds, and online publishing tools
- Can quickly judge which players, teams, organizations, and community topics are most important
- Consistent, efficient worker that can operate independently
