Job Summary

A company that offers legal services needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Estate Planning Legal Editor in the Berkeley Area.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Ensure the legal accuracy of content
  • Write and edit articles for company's website
  • Update and develop estate planning forms

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Must be able to travel to our office from time to time
  • Must have a law degree from an ABA-accredited law school and no professional disciplinary history
  • Must show excellent writing and editing skills for a nonlegal audience (blogging or journalism experience is a plus)
  • Must have at least two years' experience as a practicing attorney, including experience with will and trust formation, will and trust administration, and probate work well with others
  • Must be able to manage several projects at once
  • Must be comfortable with Microsoft Office suite and Windows operating systems
