Job Summary
A media publishing company is filling a position for a Telecommute Events Sponsorships Sales Executive.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Pursuing and securing new local sponsorship sales, expanding beyond existing clients, agencies and contacts
- Tracking sales opportunities through approved CRM system for accurate reporting and stakeholder communication
- Collecting and monitoring insights and best practices for key categories to share with key stakeholders
Qualifications Include:
- Up to 30% travel
- Excellent analytical, written and oral communication & presentation skills
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, advertising or related field or equivalent related event/sponsorship/media experience required
- Three to five years sales experience required with preferred expertise in selling sponsorships and events
- Proven ability to build trusted relationships with key internal audiences
- Understanding of marketing research techniques and ability to apply findings in face to face interaction with clients
