Job Summary
A healthcare company is seeking a Telecommute Facility Clinical Investigator.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Performing clinical coverage review of inpatient facility DRG claims
- Identifying aberrant billing patterns and trends, evidence of fraud, waste or abuse
- Providing clinical support and expertise to the other investigative and analytical areas
Position Requirements Include:
- High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
- Must be one of the following: Unrestricted RN, LPN, LVN, RHIT, RHIA, CDIP or current certified coder
- 2+ years inpatient coding experience with MS-DRG and/or APR-DRG
- Experience working with ICD-10 CM and ICD-10 PCS code sets
- Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Central Time
