Job Summary
A for-profit education company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Family Engagement Coordinator.
Must be able to:
- Facilitate online welcome and orientation sessions for new Learning Coaches and new families
- Serve as a liaison and facilitator between parents and teachers in a manner that builds ties between families and the school
- Educate parents, teachers and staff on how to communicate and work effectively as equal partners
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Bachelors degree in Education, Counseling, Human Services or related field of study
- 1 year of experience working with families in a similar capacity, developing parent mentors/parent training, and/or facilitating community involvement or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel; Web proficiency
