Job Summary

A media company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Fashion Publicist in West SoHo.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Identifying and initiating pitch ideas for clients
  • Pitching and securing coverage for clients in major print and online outlets
  • Adding to and building existing media relationships to develop new contacts

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in fashion PR, either agency or in-house
  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Journalism, or related field
  • Strong contacts with consumer fashion publications, print and online
  • Proven record of media placements (e.g., clips, credits, etc.)
  • Can provide writing samples including pitches, press releases, and correspondence
