Job Summary
A regional health network has a current position open for a Telecommute FCH and HIM Inpatient Coding Coordinator in Menomonee Falls.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Collaborate with management to ensure the highest coder quality through a variety of responsibilities
- Oversee and participate in the internal and external quality reviews as outlined in the HIM Coding Department Compliance Plan
Position Requirements Include:
- Two to four years Inpatient Coding Experience
- Associates degree in HIM or equivalent
- Certification in RHIA/RHIT and/or CCS within 6 months of hire
- Ability to monitor coding workflows and work queues for timely and accurate completion of charts
- Ability to troubleshoot issues that cause delays in chart completion
