Job Summary
A cybersecurity company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Federal Security Engineer in Springfield.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Working with operating systems including Windows workstation and server operating systems
- Defending attacks utilizing security technologies
- Utilizing knowledge and understanding of Federal certifications, accreditations, and onsite processes
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Must be able to travel 10-25% to client site or Corporate office
- Candidate must have a Secret security clearance
- Possess a current equivalent DoD 8750 IAT 2 certification and needed secondary Cyber Security DoD 8570 certification or IASAE level 3
- Possess a current Security relevant certification or similar certification
- Ability to perform security analysis, development and implementation of security policies, standards and guidelines
- Ability to quickly explore, examine and understand complex security problems and how it affects a customer's business
