Job Summary
A healthcare company has a current position open for a Telecommute Field Behavioral Health Care Advocate in Central Virginia.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Conducting initial and follow-up assessments within designated timeframes
- Identifying gaps or barriers that would impact compliance with the prescribed treatment plan
- Helping coordinate services and treatment
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- May travel throughout assigned region up to 50% of the time
- Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or Marriage or Family Counseling, or an RN with 2+ more years of experience in psychiatric nursing
- Independent, active and unrestricted Mental Health License to include PsyD, LP, LPCC, LISW, IMFT or RN in the state of VA
- 2+ years of experience in a related mental health environment
- 1+year experience working with Medicaid population and 1+year Community Mental Health experience
- Dedicated space for home office set up, access to high speed internet services, and proficient computer skills and good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
