Job Summary
An internet and e-commerce company that is working to change how groceries are purchased needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Field HR Generalist.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Acting as subject-matter expert for labor laws for both exempt and non-exempt employee groups (performance, benefits, compliance, terminations, leave of absences, etc)
- Counselling and providing mentorship to first-time managers on employee relations, systems implementation, performance management, policies, and procedures
- Identifying and recommending continuous improvements to HR programs and processes to drive efficiencies and enhance the employee experience
Qualifications for this position include:
- Ability to provide on-the-ground HR support for the Miami facilities
- Five (5) years of HR experience in fast growing organizations
- Proven knowledge of HR federal and provincial laws and regulations
- Proven communicator with demonstrable experience influencing and collaborating cross-functionally, ideally with dispersed teams
- Experience being the face of HR, representing policies and practices to managers and employees across the organization
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
