Job Summary
A medical device company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Field Reimbursement Specialist.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Coordinate the authorization process
- Initiate and follow up on Letters of Agreement with targeted payors
- Maintain customer profile data on the different layers of managed care contacts in geography
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Available/willing to work/travel weekends and evenings to meet expectations of management
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or an RN, or has other equivalent clinical background
- Computer literate with the ability to learn proprietary software
- Cardiology clinical acumen
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Must be able to comfortably navigate the internet as well as Payor websites
