Job Summary
A non-profit organization that provides disaster relief to disadvantaged communities is in need of a Telecommute Finance and Compliance Support Unit Financial Report Writer and Analyst.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Defining standards & processes for report template development and on-going report template management
- Developing & maintaining standardized financial reporting templates for use with global financial software
- Developing & maintaining award-specific budget versus actual (BVA) reports for use by country programs
Qualifications for this position include:
- BA/S or equivalent in finance, accounting or a relevant field
- 5 to 7 years of financial reporting experience in a medium to large organization, with emphasis on management & analytical reporting
- Experience designing financial reports using Jet Reports or similar software
- Demonstrated experience & understanding of generally accepted accounting principles, financial reporting, accounting systems
- Effective verbal and written communication, analytical, organizational and prioritization skills
- Highly advanced Microsoft Excel skills
