Telecommute Finance Associate

Job Summary

A behavioral and social science research organization has an open position for a Telecommute Finance Associate.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Act as a liaison between the Finance Director, project staff, and other infrastructure units
• Develop and maintain project budgets and efficient financial filing and tracking systems
• Prepare project and program financial reports to meet internal and external obligations

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, and Economics or a related field
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience, working in the areas of federal government, state and local
• Demonstrated experience in finance and cost accounting, proposal pricing, and budgeting
• Strong knowledge of the FAR and various contract types, agreements, and grants
• Demonstrated ability to deal with confidential information, and accounting systems
• Proficient in using standard Microsoft 365, including OneDrive, SharePoint, Excel, Word, and more
