Telecommute Financial Software Staff Accountant

Job Summary

A financial software developer needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Financial Software Staff Accountant.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Own Accounts Payable and the vendor experience
• Own Accounts Receivable by verifying customer contract data, invoicing customers and following up on unpaid invoices
• Assist with month-end close by preparing journal entries and reconciling balance sheet accounts

Qualifications Include:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• 2-3 years of experience working in an accounting role at a SaaS/Fintech startup
• Experience working with QuickbooksOnline
• Intermediate to Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
